We, at CodeCraft, believe that empowering the youth is the first step towards achieving inclusive development. We believe that our children are our future and they deserve better than what they get today. We want them to grow up with hope and courage, so that they can achieve their dreams despite all odds against them.
To achieve this, we joined hands with Inchara Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works towards providing quality education to children from underprivileged families in India. The Inchara Foundation aims to change all this for a more inclusive society by bringing these children back into society by providing them with an opportunity to learn new skills while also giving them an opportunity to grow emotionally with other kids their age who may have experienced similar situations as well as receive proper health care when needed.
What is the
Inchara Foundation?
The Inchara Foundation is a trust based out of Mangalore dedicated to providing a safe upbringing for all children.They have established several schools and hostels which have provided education and accommodation to thousands of students from rural India while molding them to be the future.
The foundation has also developed a system where they provide vocational training to these children so they can earn their living as self-sustained young adults. They also rehabilitate survivors of abuse through trauma therapy sessions, counseling sessions etc., while making sure they are equipped with the required skills so they can make an impact on society once they grow up.
Building an
Inclusive Community
Inchara Foundation was looking for a partner who could help them expand their reach further by taking care of their existing facilities so that they could create new ones. We, at CodeCraft, saw this as an opportunity to give something back to society through our skills and expertise in technology development.
Our purpose is to add intrinsic values in the lives of these vulnerable children so that they become self dependent and can sustain themselves in the competitive and challenging world outside. The project is aimed at providing quality education, health and other amenities for 1200 children in Inchara home. We aim at changing the trajectory of their lives by providing a holistic environment that will open up new opportunities for them.
Education is an important right that should be made available to everyone, regardless of their economic or social circumstances. Our partnership with the Inchara foundation helped us to provide clean drinking water and toilets to ensure a hygienic environment, while also installing a science lab to help the children learn with fun and experiments.
Education has the ability to empower people, and by providing these resources, the Inchara foundation allowed for greater inclusivity for all children, regardless of their background. This was a huge step forward in ensuring access to quality hygiene and education.
The
Road Ahead...
We are so excited about the difference our project will make to the education of 1200 underprivileged government school children. The painting of the school will create an inviting and inclusive atmosphere for the 250 students, and all of the children in the community. It's a fact that when basic necessities such as clean and well-maintained toilets are met, it encourages people to come and utilize the space.
We believe that education is a right and not a privilege, and we are so happy to have been able to do something that will impact hundreds of lives. By providing these basic necessities, we will be giving access to education to many more children and that is something we feel extremely passionate about. We hope that our efforts will be a lasting one, so that these children can get the lives they deserve.
